After my ADHD diagnosis, everything shifted.
I started to understand myself in a completely different way — and I saw the same patterns in my family too.
And once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
The gaps.
The lack of support.
The way everyday things — even clothing — can feel like too much.
That’s where this started.
Not as a “business idea”…
But as something that needed to exist.
Starting Small — But Thinking Big
Right now, it’s early.
There’s a lot of learning.
A lot of figuring things out as I go.
Moments of doubt, moments of excitement — sometimes within the same hour.
But one thing I’m sure of:
This has the potential to be something big.
Not just in scale — but in impact.
Because this isn’t about selling clothes.
It’s about creating something that genuinely helps people feel more comfortable in their own skin.
The Vision for CalmHaus
I don’t want this to be just another clothing brand.
I want CalmHaus to stand for:
- Understanding neurodivergent needs
- Designing with intention, not assumption
- Creating products that actually support daily life
And eventually… building a brand that people trust.
The kind of brand you reach for without thinking — because you know it will feel right.
Why the Right Team Changes Everything
One thing I’ve realised already:
You can’t build something like this alone.
The right team matters.
People who:
- Understand the vision
- Care about the details
- Believe in what you’re building
Because when you’re creating something with meaning, every decision matters.
And with the right people around you, this becomes more than just possible — it becomes powerful.
Backing Myself — Even When It’s Scary
Starting something from nothing is uncomfortable.
There’s no guarantee.
No perfect roadmap.
Just a lot of belief and a willingness to keep going.
But I’d rather try and build something meaningful
than ignore something I care about this much.
This Is Just the Beginning
CalmHaus is still at the start.
If you’re here now — you’re part of that journey.
And I truly believe…
With the right people, the right energy, and the right purpose — this will work.
