When we first started CalmHaus, we had one clear goal: create a sensory fidget hoodie that could genuinely make everyday life feel a little easier.
It wasn’t about following trends or creating “just another hoodie.” It was about designing something that could offer comfort, grounding and support when the world feels overwhelming.
But something happened as we shared our journey.
More and more conversations started finding us.
Parents told us about the morning battles before school. Adults shared how exhausting masking can be. Young people opened up about anxiety, sensory overload and the constant search for something—anything—that could help them feel calmer in difficult moments.
And we realised something important.
The hoodie was only ever the beginning.
The more we listened, the clearer it became that there isn’t one single solution for everyone. Neurodivergent life looks different for every person, and so do the tools that help. Some people need something discreet to fidget with. Others need grounding techniques, sensory comfort, or a little reminder to pause and breathe.
That’s why one of our very first products became our CalmHaus stress ball.
Creating it wasn’t part of the original plan, but it felt like the right next step. A simple, portable way to release nervous energy, regulate emotions and keep your hands busy when your mind feels anything but calm.
And it certainly won’t be the last.
Every product we create starts with listening.

Listening to the moments where life feels just that little bit harder.
CalmHaus is growing into something much bigger than we ever imagined. Not because we changed direction, but because our community showed us what was truly needed.
Our mission has always been to help people feel safe, understood and supported.
Whether that’s through our sensory hoodie, a stress ball, future grounding tools or something we haven’t even dreamed up yet, we’ll keep building with one thing in mind:
