This week, we had the incredible opportunity to exhibit at the National Neurodiversity Show in Coventry, and what an unforgettable experience it was.
To every single person who stopped by our stand – thank you.
Whether you came over to chat, share your story, try on our clothing, explore our sensory tools or simply say hello, every conversation reminded us exactly why CalmHaus exists.
One of the biggest takeaways from the show was hearing your experiences firsthand. We listened to your needs, your challenges and your ideas. We met so many wonderful neurodivergent individuals, parents, carers, teachers and professionals, each with their own unique journey.
Something that came through again and again was just how difficult it is to find high-quality sensory tools that are accessible, practical and genuinely helpful. It reinforced what we’ve believed from the very beginning – there is still so much more that needs to be available for the neurodivergent community.
It was amazing watching so many of you experience our comforting, grounding clothing for the first time. Our Everyday Sports Bras were incredibly popular, alongside our sensory accessories. Seeing visitors instinctively reach for our sensory tools, fidget away while chatting and then leave with products they were genuinely excited about was such a special moment for us.
These aren’t just products to us—they’re tools designed to help make everyday life a little more comfortable.
We’d also like to say a huge congratulations to Emma, who won our Mystery Fidget Box for her daughter! It was so lovely hearing that the butter squishy has already become a massive favourite. We were equally excited to hear how much they’re looking forward to the release of our Sensory Fidget Hoodie!
The Sensory Hoodie Journey
If you’ve been following our journey, you’ll know our Sensory Hoodie has taken longer to develop than we originally expected.
And honestly? We wouldn’t change it.
Every delay has given us another opportunity to learn.
It’s given us time to meet more of you, to hear your feedback, to understand your sensory preferences and to appreciate something incredibly important:
No two neurodivergent people are the same.
We all regulate differently.
What feels calming for one person may feel overwhelming for another. What one person reaches for instinctively might not work at all for someone else.
That understanding has shaped the future of our hoodie in the best possible way.
Instead of creating a “one-size-fits-all” sensory hoodie, we’re creating one that works for you.
You’ll be able to choose your hoodie style, colour and size before customising it with the sensory fidgets and features that suit your individual needs.
Because sensory regulation isn’t one-size-fits-all.
And honestly…
We’ve found some seriously good sensory additions that we can’t wait to show you.
Looking Ahead
This weekend reminded us why CalmHaus is more than a brand—it’s a growing community built on listening, learning and creating products that truly make a difference.
